With an extensive network of over 450 retail outlets in Nigeria and significant storage facilities in Apapa, Lagos and Onne, Rivers State, we procure and distribute petrol (PMS), diesel (AGO), kerosene (DPK) and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). Our services also involve the manufacturing and distribution of a wide range of quality lubricants from our oil blending plant in Apapa, Lagos. These lubricants include: Super V, Visco 2000 and Diesel Motor Oil. We are also the sole authorised distributor of Shell branded Helix Engine Oils in Nigeria. We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Full Stack Developer Location : Lagos Job Type: Full-time Job Summary The role holder is responsible for building high-quality, scalable, maintainable and secure software solutions to support the needs of the organisation. Key Responsibilities: Implement security best practices to protect applications against vulnerabilities and threats Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices Write clean, functional code on the front- and back-end Participate in code reviews, write and maintain technical documentation, and follow best practices for code management Maintain, troubleshoot and upgrade already existing software Build the front-end of applications incorporating appealing visual design Work with development team, product owners/managers, designers to ideate and deliver software solutions Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency Take ownership of the smooth running of all existing applications Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications, ensuring data integrity, security, and efficiency Write and integrate effective APIs for client-side and server-side applications communication Maintain legacy code written by other developers, including bug fixes Participate in the design and creation of scalable software both internal and customer facing Design client-side and server-side architecture Requirements: Minimum of Three (3) years’ experience: as a fullstack developer, software developer or similar. Relevant certifications in web development, cloud technologies, security, or related fields are a plus (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer, Certified Kubernetes Developer, DevOps). Minimum of Bachelor’s degree/HND in Computer Science/Information Technology/ Engineering, or related fields Skills & Competencies: Sound knowledge and experience: in one or more back-end/server-side programming languages (PHP, Java, C#, Python, Node.js, .NET) Experience: developing web and desktop applications; mobile is a plus Experience: with testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha, Selenium) Experience: with APIs (e.g., RESTful, GraphQL) Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes) and package managers.
