To make a substantial and positive contribution to the strategic direction of the firm. To represent clients in court, draft and review court processes and legal documents, and manage or advise clients on legal matters. To develop research objectives, projects and proposals and carry out individual or collaborative research aligned with the firm's practice areas. Duties and Responsibilities: Performs other duties as assigned. Interpret laws, rulings and regulations for natural and juristic persons. Monitor legal risk in documentation and giving guidance on the acceptable assumption of risk. Offer legal representation to clients in court proceedings on civil or criminal matters. Protecting the Firm’s interests by ensuring due diligence Manage regulatory and compliance-related services. Evaluate findings and develop strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases Ensure that appropriate approvals are in place before documents are executed. Explain the law and give legal advice. Conduct legal research and gather evidence. Study Constitution, statutes, decisions, regulations, and ordinances of quasi-judicial bodies to determine ramifications for cases Prepare pleadings, notices and make appearances in court Draft, review and manage wills, trusts, estates, contracts and deeds. Offer legal representation at arbitration or mediation hearings. Manage and oversee paralegals and legal assistants. Facilitate innovative solutions to client problems. Qualifications and Experience: Required Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and research skills. Natural leader who displays sound judgment and attention to detail. With 2-3 consecutive years of active experience: in legal practice. A Degree in Law with at least 2.1 Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Good oral and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal, communication and public speaking skills. Ability to act as project leader on major research projects Excellent interpersonal skills Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality Experience: in drafting, negotiating and reviewing legal documents.
