We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Internal Control Officer Location: Ibadan, Oyo Employment Type: Full-Time Role Overview The Internal Control Associate will support the implementation and monitoring of internal controls, policies, processes, and risk management initiatives across the organization. The role is responsible for conducting reviews and control assessments, identifying control gaps, monitoring compliance with established policies and procedures, and supporting loss prevention efforts to ensure alignment with the Company's governance framework and strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities: Review and validate monthly bank reconciliation statements prepared by the Finance team for the respective countries to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with established controls. Monitor compliance with internal policies, procedures, and approved controls. Perform investigations and reviews relating to operational losses and policy breaches. Conduct periodic spot checks and control assessments across operational locations. Identify control weaknesses and recommend appropriate remediation measures. Supports the Internal Control Manager in all other task. Requirements: Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related discipline. Accuracy and Attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal skill. Strong communication (written and oral) skills. Critical thinking skills. ACA is an added advantage. A minimum of Minimum of 3 years' experience: in Internal Control, Audit, Compliance, Risk Management, or related functions. Ability to manage and juggle multiple priorities and projects.
