We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Blow Moulding Machine Technician Location: Onitsha, Anambra Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary The ideal candidate must possess strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience: in maintaining industrial blow moulding machines while ensuring maximum machine uptime and production efficiency. The Blow Moulding Machine Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and optimal performance of blow moulding machines and related production equipment. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the installation and commissioning of new blow moulding equipment. Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical faults. Observe all safety procedures and company maintenance standards. Collaborate with production personnel to ensure smooth manufacturing operations. Perform machine setup, changeovers, and routine servicing. Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on blow moulding machines. Maintain maintenance records, service reports, and spare parts usage. Ensure machines operate efficiently with minimal downtime. Monitor machine performance and recommend improvements to enhance productivity. Replace worn or damaged machine components promptly. Requirements: Ability to interpret machine manuals and technical drawings. Strong knowledge of blow moulding machine operations and maintenance. Good problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems. NYSC or discharge certificate Minimum of 3 years' hands-on experience: maintaining blow moulding machines in a manufacturing environment. Ability to work independently and under pressure. HND, BSC, Trade Test Certificate, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
