We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Electrical Technician Location: Sagamu, Ogun Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary The Electrical & Electronics Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and improving electrical and electronic systems on injection molding machines, extrusion, Pen assembling machines and auxiliary equipment. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience: in industrial maintenance, fault diagnosis, and production machinery. Key Responsibilities: Ensure minimum machine downtime and quick fault resolution. Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies. Troubleshoot Electrical and Electronic faults on machines and auxiliary equipment. Work closely with production and engineering teams to improve efficiency. Maintain proper maintenance records and reports. Repair and maintain: Temperature controllers /PLC systems /Sensors and limit switches /Servo and hydraulic control systems /Heaters and thermocouples /Motor drives and contactors Read and interpret electrical drawings and circuit diagrams. Support installation and commissioning of new machines and equipment. Monitor machine performance and recommend improvements. Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on injection molding machines. Requirements: & Qualifications Ability to work under pressure and during shift operations if required. Ability to use electrical testing tools such as multimeter, clamp meter, and insulation tester. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Good knowledge of: Industrial electrical systems /PLC troubleshooting /Sensors and Limit Switches /Hydraulic and pneumatic systems Good communication and teamwork skills. 2–5 years’ experience: in industrial or injection molding machine maintenance. Experience: with machines such as: Demag/ HaitianEngel/ Toshiba / Arburg Minimum of HND / BSc in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or related field. Added Advantage: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Experience: in plastic manufacturing industry. Understanding of industrial safety standards.
