We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Quantity Surveyor Location: Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Key Responsibilities: Conduct site visits to proposed construction sites to identify and assess the cost implications of project location and site conditions. Prepare costs for additional works on ongoing projects. Liaise with other members of the tendering team to prepare financial and technical proposals for proposed projects. Maintain a checklist of project deliverables at the tender stage. Perform any other functions as requested by management. Assess the financial and technical risks associated with projects. Maintain a bid register and files of associated documents. Research, source, negotiate, and obtain quotations from subcontractors and suppliers. Prepare estimates and budgets for projects. Prepare letters to clients regarding inquiries, clarifications, extensions of time, declines, and other related matters. Requirements: Relevant professional certification in Quantity Surveying, such as membership of the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NIQS), is an advantage. 6–8 years of relevant experience. Diploma or University Degree in Quantity Surveying or a relevant field. Extensive experience: working on tenders and bids within the construction industry.
