We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Electrical Maintenance Technician I to support field electrical maintenance activities, electrical isolation (LOTO), and preventive/breakdown maintenance for lighting, air-conditioning, and motor systems. Key Responsibilities: Obtain FLS approval before implementing any changes to approved work plans. Supervise contractors and ensure strict compliance with safety requirements, immediately intervening where unsafe acts are observed. Verify and accept completed maintenance work. Execute scheduled maintenance activities and promptly escalate unresolved issues to the First Line Supervisor (FLS). Verify and issue electrical work permits to contractors for lighting, air-conditioning, and motor maintenance activities. Participate in Job Safety Analysis (JSA) reviews with contractors. Provide daily progress updates to the FLS and maintenance planner. Monitor contractors’ work quality to ensure compliance with Maintenance Procedures & Practices (MPP) and minimize rework. Requirements: Previous experience: in electrical maintenance or a closely related role, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry. Ability to work under tight deadlines, manage heavy workloads, and adapt to changing priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with contractors and other stakeholders. Relevant technical/discipline certification or equivalent professional experience. Good understanding of electrical isolation and Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) procedures. Strong communication and field reporting skills.
