Established in 2018 and headquartered in Maiduguri, Borno State, CENSCOPE was founded in response to the humanitarian crisis resulting from armed conflict and natural disasters. CENSCOPE is committed to promoting self-sustainability, equality, and social justice, with programmatic focus on peacebuilding, social cohesion, protection, gender equality and inclusion, livelihoods, education, WASH, climate change, health, and nutrition. The organization works in partnership with national and international stakeholders, including UN agencies and international non-governmental organizations, to deliver principled humanitarian assistance and support long-term development outcomes. With Malala Fund support, it is running a three-year project to advance Gender-Responsive Education: Budgeting (GREB) in Borno State; securing budget lines for the re-entry and retention of married, pregnant and parenting girls in education. Role purpose To serve as the core delivery engine of the project; leading day-to-day implementation of activities, field coordination, training facilitation and compliance follow-through across the seven target LGAs. Key responsibilities: Implement and coordinate project activities across assigned LGAs in line with the workplan. Facilitate trainings (government officials, budget monitors) and stakeholder engagements. Support baseline and monitoring data collection using survivor-centred, disability-inclusive methods. Coordinate field logistics and pre-mission security briefings with the Project Manager. Track activity-level compliance and route any incident reports through safeguarding channels. Qualification & Specification Essential Bachelor's degree in development, education, social sciences or a related field. 2–3 years' project implementation experience: in humanitarian or development settings in Northeast Nigeria. Field experience: in hard-to-reach or high-security LGAs; willingness to travel regularly. Hausa and/or Kanuri strongly preferred; proficiency in English. Desirable Familiarity with digital data-collection tools (e.g. KoboToolbox / ODK). Experience: in advocacy, budget monitoring or education: programming.
