We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: NOC / Field Service Electrical Engineer Location: Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Responsibilities: NOC Monitoring & Fault Management: Perform initial remote troubleshooting and raise service calls for FSE intervention where required. Classify incidents based on severity and operational impact. Identify alarms, electrical faults, communication failures, and abnormal plant performance. Monitor solar PV plants, inverters, batteries, and electrical systems through NOC/SCADA platforms. Field Service Support: Provide technical support to FSEs during electrical fault diagnosis and site interventions. Review FSE findings and confirm that reported faults have been properly resolved. Track corrective actions and ensure timely closure of site incidents. Troubleshoot inverters, PV systems, batteries, switchgear, protection systems, cables, meters, and related equipment. Maintenance & Commissioning: Validate equipment performance, alarms, communication, and establish operational baselines. Support project handover from Projects to Operations/Services. Support commissioning, testing, and energization of electrical equipment and monitoring systems. Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities across renewable energy sites. Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of incidents, maintenance activities, equipment history, and corrective actions. Conduct basic root-cause analysis and identify recurring electrical faults. Prepare weekly reports on plant availability, downtime, energy yield, faults, and equipment performance. Spare Parts & Escalation: Identify required electrical spare parts and support MRFs, quotations, and procurement activities. Escalate complex technical issues to the Project/Service Engineer with clear fault descriptions and impact. Coordinate with FSEs to ensure timely resolution of critical site issues.
