Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures, including general X-rays, ultrasound, and other routine radiographic examinations. Conduct and document routine ultrasound examinations. Prepare, identify, position, and reassure patients before and during imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety. Operate, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot radiography and ultrasound equipment in accordance with established standards. Produce high-quality diagnostic images and provide accurate preliminary observations while maintaining complete and confidential clinical records. Work collaboratively with radiologists, clinicians, and other healthcare professionals to support timely and effective patient diagnosis and care. Key Requirements: & Responsibilities: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent recognised qualification in Radiography, Medical Imaging Science, or a related field, with current registration and practising licence from the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN). Minimum of 2 years’ post-qualification clinical experience: in a hospital or diagnostic setting, with demonstrated competence in general radiography and diagnostic ultrasonography. Formal certification or recognised training in ultrasound/sonography is highly desirable. Strong knowledge and application of radiation protection, infection prevention, patient identification, equipment safety, and quality assurance standards. Excellent communication, interpersonal, documentation, and patient-care skills, with the ability to work independently and effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
