We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Ranch Manager Location: Katsina Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Ranch Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations and management of its ranching and livestock activities. Key Responsibilities: Ensure proper utilization and accountability of ranch resources and materials. Supervise livestock production, feeding, breeding, health, and general animal welfare. Coordinate with the Veterinary, Security,and other relevant departments. Ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, biosecurity, and livestock management standards. Monitor operational costs and support efficient budget management. Monitor livestock inventory, records, production performance, and farm inputs. Lead and manage ranch staff, ensuring discipline, productivity, and adherence to company policies. Prepare regular operational reports and provide recommendations to management. Develop and implement effective ranch operational plans and procedures. Manage the day-to-day operations of the ranch and ensure efficient farm activities. Requirements: Good knowledge of livestock production, animal husbandry, and ranch management practices. Ability to work under pressure and manage a diverse workforce. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Minimum of 5 years’ experience: in a managerial or supervisory position, preferably within livestock, ranching, agriculture, or a related industry. Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Animal Science, Animal Production, Agriculture, Veterinary-related fields, or a relevant discipline. Proven experience: in managing livestock or ranch operations.
