Min Qualification: Degree Experience: Level: Mid level Experience: Length: 3 years Language Requirement: English Working Hours: Full Time - 8 to 5 Applicant Location: Abuja, Nigeria Job descriptions & requirements: Responsibilities: Record all financial transactions accurately and promptly in the Company's accounting system. Prepare and issue customer invoices based on approved dispatch records and maintain an updated sales invoice register. Monitor customer accounts, follow up on outstanding payments, and maintain an accurate debtors ledger. Verify supplier invoices against approved purchase orders and delivery documents before processing payments. Prepare supplier payment schedules and process approved payments in accordance with Company procedures. Prepare monthly payroll schedules using approved HR payroll data for review by the Head of Finance. Assist in preparing statutory schedules and supporting documentation for PAYE, VAT, NHF, pension, and other regulatory filings. Perform monthly bank reconciliations and promptly investigate and resolve any discrepancies. Prepare financial schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documents for internal and external audits. Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all accounting documentation is complete and properly filed. Ensure compliance with the Company's financial policies, internal controls, and applicable accounting standards. Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports as required by the Head of Finance. Support budget monitoring, cash flow management, and financial planning activities. Liaise with internal departments to ensure timely processing of financial transactions and documentation. Perform any other finance and accounting duties assigned by the Head of Finance or Management. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Professional qualification such as ICAN, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent is preferred or in progress. Minimum of 3–5 years' experience: in accounting or finance, with experience: in a supervisory role being an added advantage. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
