Responsibilities: Contribute to audit, quality improvement and CPD. Provide day-to-day guidance and checking of junior staff and trainees. Support biosafety compliance and quality assurance at section level. Act as a senior practitioner in laboratory, performing complex/specialised laboratory testing and providing a clinical/technical resource to colleagues. Requirements: Education: Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS) from a recognised institution. Completion of the required national internship and NYSC, or a valid exemption where applicable. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of post-registration experience: in the relevant profession, including experience: supporting and guiding junior medical laboratory science staff and post-registration experience: in medical laboratory science practice beyond entry level.
