The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and general orderliness of the home while providing attentive and responsible care for the children. We are seeking a responsible, trustworthy, well-mannered, and hardworking Housekeeper/Childcare Assistant to join a private household in Satellite Town, Lagos. This position is suitable for someone with good character, strong moral values, integrity, and a positive attitude who understands the importance of confidentiality and trust when working in a private home. Key Responsibilities: Childcare: Pay close attention to the child's needs, behaviour, comfort, and safety. Assist with feeding, bathing, dressing, and other age-appropriate care as required. Ensure the children are safe, comfortable, clean, and properly supervised. Report any unusual behaviour, concerns, or incidents to the parent/guardian promptly. Assist with the children's daily routines as directed by the parent/guardian. Provide attentive and responsible care for the children. Support the child with special needs with patience, care, and understanding. Maintain a calm and supportive environment for the children. Housekeeping: Wash and properly arrange household items as assigned. Assist with laundry and ironing when required. Assist with other reasonable household chores assigned by the employer. Sweep, mop, dust, and maintain assigned areas of the house. Keep the children's rooms, play areas, and personal belongings tidy. Keep the home clean, neat, and organised. Maintain proper hygiene and cleanliness throughout the home. Requirements: & Qualifications Must be able to follow instructions and respect household rules. Experience: caring for a child with special needs. Must be well educated and able to communicate clearly. Must be patient, respectful, responsible, and emotionally mature.
