We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Partnerships & Business Development Officer Location: Gbagada, Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Role Summary The Partnerships & Business Development Officer is responsible for identifying and supporting business opportunities, building relationships with potential partners, and contributing to the growth and visibility of the institute. The role supports partnership development, outreach, client engagement, and revenue-generating initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Marketing, Programs, Admissions, and Student Success teams on partnership-related activities. Assist in developing corporate training and institutional program opportunities. Conduct outreach to prospective partners and introduce the institute’s programs and services. Prepare regular reports on business development activities, leads, partnerships, and outcomes. Identify potential partners, corporate clients, schools, universities, NGOs, government agencies, professional organizations, and other relevant institutions. Represent the institute at networking events, conferences, career fairs, industry events, and other outreach activities. Support the development and maintenance of strategic partnerships. Follow up on partnership leads, inquiries, meetings, proposals, and prospective clients. Maintain accurate records of partners, prospects, business opportunities, and engagement activities. Maintain positive relationships with existing partners and identify opportunities for continued engagement. Support the negotiation and implementation of partnership agreements and MOUs. Assist in preparing partnership proposals, presentations, quotations, and other business development materials. Conduct basic market and competitor research to identify potential business opportunities. Support initiatives aimed at increasing student enrollment, corporate training opportunities, and institutional partnerships. Requirements: Good negotiation and follow-up skills. 2 years of experience: in business development, sales, partnerships, customer relations, marketing, or a related role. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Communications, Economics, or a related field. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with other teams. Ability to prepare professional proposals, reports, and presentations. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Workspace. Strong communication, networking, presentation, and relationship-management skills. Ability to identify prospects and develop business opportunities.
