Key Responsibilities: Guest Service: Clear tables efficiently and reset them for the next guests. Thank guests for their patronage and invite them to return. Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items, daily specials, and beverage options. Check on guests during their meals to ensure satisfaction and promptly address any requests or concerns. Serve food and beverages professionally, following established service standards. Welcome guests warmly and escort them to their tables where applicable. Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them promptly to the kitchen or bar. Restaurant Operations: Assist with buffet setup, replenishment, and breakdown where applicable. Prepare the restaurant for service by setting tables with the appropriate cutlery, crockery, glassware, and linen. Coordinate effectively with kitchen, bar, and cashier teams to ensure smooth operations. Replenish service stations with necessary supplies before, during, and after service. Ensure dining areas are clean, organized, and well-presented at all times. Food Safety and Hygiene: Report any food quality or safety concerns immediately. Maintain excellent personal grooming and hygiene. Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards. Handle food and beverages in a safe and hygienic manner. Sales and Guest Experience: Handle guest complaints professionally and escalate issues when necessary. Build positive relationships with guests by providing attentive and personalized service. Upsell food and beverage offerings where appropriate. Promote menu items, beverages, desserts, and daily specials to enhance the guest experience: and increase revenue. Administrative Responsibilities: Ensure bills are accurate before presenting them to guests. Assist with stock counts and inventory control when required.
