Job Title: Staff Auxiliary Nurse Location : Ikorodu, Lagos Responsibilities: Assist residents with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene. Assist residents with feeding and ensure appropriate nutritional support. Support residents with mobility, positioning, transfers, and other activities of daily living. Monitor and report residents’ vital signs and changes in their condition to the Registered Nurse. Assist with routine nursing care within the limits of training and authorisation. Provide companionship and emotional support to residents. Maintain clean, safe, and comfortable resident environments. Assist with bed-making and changing of linens. Support infection prevention and hygiene procedures. Assist Registered Nurses with patient care and other appropriate clinical tasks. Observe residents and promptly report unusual behaviour, discomfort, falls, injuries, or other concerns. Maintain confidentiality and respect residents’ privacy and dignity. Assist in maintaining appropriate care records as directed. Support residents during appointments, activities, and movement within the facility. Perform other duties assigned by the supervising nurse. Requirements: Auxiliary Nurse, Healthcare Assistant qualification, or relevant healthcare training. Previous experience: in elderly care, nursing homes, hospitals, or home-care services is an advantage. Compassionate, patient, respectful, and dependable. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively under the supervision of Registered Nurses. Physically capable of assisting residents with mobility and daily activities.
