We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Experienced Electrical Engineer Location: Onitsha, Anambra Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary The ideal candidate must possess strong technical expertise in industrial electrical systems and be capable of minimizing machine downtime through effective preventive and corrective maintenance. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of electrical systems, industrial machinery, and production equipment. Key Responsibilities: Ensure minimal production downtime by responding promptly to electrical breakdowns. Prepare maintenance reports, breakdown analysis, and spare parts requirements. Maintain electrical panels, switchgears, transformers, generators, compressors, and distribution systems. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical installations and equipment. Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency. Interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams. Recommend and implement process improvements that enhance productivity and reduce operational costs. Ensure compliance with all electrical safety standards and company policies. Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and industrial production equipment. Diagnose and resolve electrical faults on injection moulding, blow moulding, and auxiliary machines. Troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems, sensors, motors, drives, control panels, and automation equipment. Supervise electrical technicians where necessary. Requirements: Hands-on experience: with injection moulding, blow moulding, or similar manufacturing equipment will be an added advantage. Ability to work under pressure and respond effectively to production emergencies. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical manuals. Minimum of 5 years' proven experience: in a manufacturing environment. Good understanding of occupational health and electrical safety standards. Excellent troubleshooting and fault-finding skills. Bachelor's Degree or HND in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, automation, PLCs, motor control circuits, VFDs, and control panels.
