The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing electrical and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and minimal downtime. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment. Ensure machines and equipment operate safely and efficiently. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential equipment failures and maintenance needs. Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, equipment manuals, and mechanical schematics. Repair, replace, and maintain faulty electrical components, motors, pumps, machines, and mechanical systems. Carry out installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of equipment. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, equipment faults, and spare parts used. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical faults. Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and carry out necessary repairs. Requirements: Minimum of 3 years’ experience: as an Electrical/Mechanical Technician or in a similar technical maintenance role. Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, machinery, and maintenance practices. Ability to use electrical and mechanical testing and diagnostic tools. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals. Good understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance. Ability to troubleshoot electrical faults and mechanical breakdowns effectively. OND, HND, or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field. Preferred Skills: Experience: working in a manufacturing, industrial, oil & gas, engineering, or production environment. Basic knowledge of PLCs and automated systems will be an added advantage.
