Phlebotomist/Lab Technician Job Type Part Time Qualification BA/BSc/HND Experience: Location Lagos Job Field Medical / Healthcare Role Description The Phlebotomist/Lab Technician (Part-Time) role at Genesis Specialist Hospital involves performing blood collection procedures, preparing samples for analysis, and supporting daily laboratory operations. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ikeja, where the individual will work closely with clinical teams to ensure accurate specimen handling, labeling, and documentation. Responsibilities: include following established safety and infection control protocols, maintaining laboratory equipment, and assisting with basic diagnostic tests as directed by senior laboratory staff or physicians. The role also requires communicating clearly with patients, explaining procedures, and providing a calm, professional experience: during specimen collection. Qualifications Demonstrated proficiency in Blood Collection and Medical Assisting skills. Solid Laboratory Skills with experience: in specimen handling and basic diagnostic procedures. Working knowledge of Medical Terminology and foundational understanding of Medicine relevant to laboratory practice.
