Read more about this company Regional Accountant Job Type Full Time Qualification BA/BSc/HND Experience: 2 - 4 years Location Lagos Job Field Finance / Accounting / Audit Salary Range ₦200,000 - ₦300,000/month Responsibilities: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records of all transactions. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports including sales, purchases, and expenses. Reconcile cash, bank statements, and credit card transactions. Track accounts payable and accounts receivable. Assist in preparing and monitoring restaurant budgets. Analyze financial data to identify areas of cost reduction and profit maximization. Monitor inventory costs, supplier invoices, and wastage to ensure financial efficiency. Process staff payroll accurately and on time. Maintain records of employee salaries, benefits, deductions, and statutory payments. Ensure timely filing and remittance of VAT, PAYE, and other statutory obligations. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies. Prepare financial documents for audits and liaise with external auditors. Manage daily cash flow and ensure proper cash handling by the cashier/front desk. Ensure timely deposits of restaurant income into the company’s bank account. Monitor petty cash usage and reconcile accordingly. Provide financial insights to management for decision-making. Advise management on financial risks, opportunities, and improvements. Work closely with procurement and operations to align financial goals with business needs.
