Read more about this company Product Manager Job Type Full Time Qualification BA/BSc/HND Experience 5 years Location Lagos Job Field Product Management Job Objective To manage a set of products or product lines over the life of the product from ideation through development, launch sale and finally discontinuance. To interface between the market and the product team during development representing the voice of the customer. . Key Roles and Responsibilities Partner with product, growth, marketing and operations team to conduct an in depth quantitative analysis that guide strategic decisions. Make recommendations based on detailed analysis and a deep understanding of company’s business. Build and maintain reports, models and visualizations which provide insight into users experiences and business performance. Contribute to the team and company data culture through peer collaboration, training, coaching etc. Perform product system impact analysis to determine affected functional areas of application and data model. Participate in bug review meetings and product release decision making. Ability to gain an understanding of the customer experience, identify and fill product gaps. Generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth. To recommend the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements, appraising new product ideas and /or product or packaging charges Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes Develop and maintain a business proposal for continued investment into the products Bring new products to the market by analysing proposed product requirements and product development programs Prepare return on investment analysis; establish time schedules with the engineering and manufacturing teams. Work closely with the engineering team to deliver with quick time to market and optimal resources Drive product launches including working with public relations team, executives and other product management team members. Evaluate promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed. Ability to drive changes to the products and processes to create improvement Keep an update on customers and solicit feedback on company products and services Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies. Responsible for mentoring and Training Team Members Carry out any other duties as assigned by management from time to time. Key Performance Indicators Achieve 80% successful product launch Timeliness and minimal error in function deliverables Quality of output in relation to job functions Demonstrated the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external associates Required Skills and Competencies Proficient in productivity applications such as microsoft office , project or basecamp Efficient in using collaboration and CRM tools such as Slack, JIRA, Aha and Salesforce . Metrics driven : strong analytical and synthesis skills are a must , including the ability to absorb and process large amounts of data into actionable information Partner with product, growth, marketing and operations team to conduct an in depth quantitative analysis that guide strategic decisions.
