We are seeking a responsible, reliable, and experienced Driver to support our logistics operations in Lagos and Port Harcourt. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation and delivery of packages, documents, and other company items while ensuring proper handling of company vehicles. Key Responsibilities: Adhere to all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies. Ensure timely pickup and delivery of packages in line with operational schedules. Assist with loading and unloading packages where required. Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries. Handle packages and company property responsibly and securely. Work closely with the Operations and Logistics teams to ensure smooth delivery operations. Report delays, accidents, vehicle faults, or other incidents to the appropriate supervisor. Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel usage, and deliveries. Safely transport and deliver packages, documents, and other assigned items to designated locations. Keep the assigned vehicle clean, safe, and in good working condition. Conduct daily vehicle checks and report faults or maintenance needs promptly. Use navigation tools such as Google Maps to identify efficient routes. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Education: Minimum of an SSCE/WAEC/NECO. Defensive driving training or certification is an added advantage. Experience: handling multiple deliveries and navigating busy urban routes is preferred. Previous experience: with a logistics, courier, delivery, transportation, or e-commerce company is an added advantage. 2 - 5 years of professional driving experience. Other Requirements: Must be familiar with the routes and major locations within Lagos or Port Harcourt. Must comply with all company safety and operational policies. Must demonstrate professionalism and a high level of integrity. Must possess a valid Nigerian driver's licence appropriate for the assigned vehicle. Must be punctual, trustworthy, disciplined, and responsible. Must have a good driving record. Must be willing to work flexible hours based on operational requirements. Must be willing to travel when required. Required Skills: Excellent driving and vehicle-handling skills. Strong time-management and organizational skills. Good knowledge of routes within Lagos or Port Harcourt. Reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to use Google Maps and other navigation applications. Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting. Ability to work under pressure and meet delivery timelines. Good customer service skills. Good knowledge of road safety and traffic regulations.
