We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: LMV / HEMM Maintenance Specialist - Electrical Location: Obajana Plant, Kogi Job Summary The ideal candidate for this role at Dangote Cement Plc will be responsible for the electrical maintenance of light motor vehicles (LMV) and heavy earth moving machines (HEMM). Key Duties and Responsibilities: Reading of electrical schematics, diagnose and repair heavy earth moving machines and light vehicles. To assist in planning and monitoring to ensure adequate vehicles and equipment availability. To provide support for electrical technicians with strong capacity to use diagnostic tooling/software for light vehicles and equipment. To plan and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of light vehicles and heavy earth oving machines. Provide technical support and guidance to junior mechanics and technicians. To ensure proper housekeeping of job areas in the workshop and plant in general. To assist at ensuring adequate inventory and effective spare parts planning. Ensure adherence to plant safety standards and regulations. To train subordinate in order to ensure that electrical maintenance is done timely and correctly. Requirements: Great interpersonal skills and teamwork abilities. Proven experience: as an electrical engineer or in a similar role with minimum of ten (10) years working experience. Creative thinking, innovation, advanced problem-solving and critical thinking/mathematical skills. Effective verbal and written communication, ability to write technical reports. Strong knowledge of Electrical engineering principles, including electrical schematics, DC circuits, electrical diagnosis and materials science. Bachelor's Degree or HND qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Valid drivers' license. In-depth knowledge of diagnostics tools, software, interpretations of electrical faults/codes/symbols and ability to read manuals. Knowledge of SAP.
