As we expand our impact, we seek a dedicated professional to support the design, coordination, and execution of SRHIN’s research studies, and lead data-driven decision-making to strengthen evidence-based programming for slum and rural communities. Role Overview Support the design, coordination, and execution of SRHIN’s research studies, and lead data-driven decision-making to strengthen evidence-based programming for slum and rural communities. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement research protocols, tools, and methodologies for SRHIN’s studies Coordinate data collection activities across field sites, ensuring quality and adherence to ethical standards Conduct quantitative and/or qualitative data analysis and produce research reports, briefs, and publications Support grant proposal development and research funding applications Supervise and provide guidance to Research Assistants and field data collection teams Liaise with community stakeholders, partners, and regulatory bodies (e.g. ethics committees) on research activities Contribute to the translation of research findings into policy and programme recommendations Maintain accurate research documentation, records, and data management systems Required Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, Epidemiology, or a related field (Master’s degree an advantage) Minimum of 3 years’ experience: in research coordination, data collection, or related research work Strong quantitative/qualitative research and analytical skills, with proficiency in relevant statistical software (e.g. SPSS, STATA, R) Experience: with research ethics and regulatory compliance processes Excellent report-writing, communication, and supervisory skills Experience: conducting research in low-resource, slum, or rural community settings is an advantage Application Closing Date Not Specified.
