This role owns the end-to-end logistics and commercial cycle, including supplier management, working capital efficiency, dispatch operations, delivery performance, collections discipline, and team leadership. The successful candidate will drive operational excellence, improve profitability through stronger supplier relationships and optimized distribution processes, and establish scalable systems that support sustainable business growth. Job Responsibilities: Develop and strengthen supplier, distributor, and strategic partner relationships to improve pricing, allocation, and supply reliability. Identify opportunities to expand and strengthen distribution capabilities and market reach. Negotiate commercial terms that improve margins and operational performance. Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and distribution opportunities to support business growth. Own and manage the working capital cycle to ensure efficient inventory movement and cash flow. Maintain strict payment and collections discipline to protect cash velocity and business profitability. Monitor margins, costs, and operational performance to achieve volume and profitability targets. Collaborate with leadership to establish and execute growth strategies that improve financial outcomes. Oversee daily logistics operations, including order processing, dispatch, transportation, and delivery activities. Manage fleet performance and third-party haulage providers to ensure efficient and reliable service delivery. Establish and maintain operational standards, processes, and controls that improve efficiency and reduce risk. Monitor delivery performance and implement corrective actions to improve service quality and customer satisfaction. Recruit, lead, coach, and develop logistics and operational support teams. Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and operational excellence. Job Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of experience: in logistics, supply chain, distribution, commercial operations, or a related field. Demonstrated experience: managing transportation, dispatch, delivery, fleet operations, or distribution networks. Proven track record of achieving operational, financial, or commercial performance targets. Experience: managing budgets, margins, working capital, or profit-and-loss responsibilities: is highly desirable. Experience: within building materials, manufacturing, FMCG, wholesale distribution, or related industries is an advantage. Salary N500,000 / Month.
