The ideal candidate must be safety-conscious, discreet, well-mannered, punctual, and capable of providing a high standard of driving and support to Management and authorised personnel. We are seeking a highly reliable, professional, and experienced Official Driver to join our team. Key Responsibilities: Observe all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company driving policies. Coordinate and follow up on vehicle servicing, repairs, insurance, licensing, and other relevant documentation. Monitor fuel levels, tyre condition, engine oil, coolant, brakes, lights, and other essential vehicle components. Conduct daily/pre-trip vehicle inspections and promptly report mechanical faults or maintenance needs. Ensure the vehicle is properly secured when parked and follow appropriate security procedures. Perform other driving and related duties as may be assigned by Management. Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion regarding information, conversations, schedules, movements, and activities encountered while on duty. Use navigation tools appropriately to avoid unnecessary delays and optimise travel time. Plan routes effectively and demonstrate excellent knowledge of Abuja and surrounding areas, including alternative routes where necessary. Demonstrate strong awareness of personal and passenger safety and promptly report any security concerns. Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, servicing, and other vehicle-related activities. Practise defensive driving and exercise sound judgement in challenging road and traffic conditions. Be available to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, or outside normal working hours when required by the nature of the role. Maintain a high level of professionalism, courtesy, and respect at all times. Maintain the assigned vehicle in a clean, presentable, and roadworthy condition at all times. Provide safe, comfortable, reliable, and timely transportation for the Management, staff, clients, and other authorised personnel. Ensure passengers arrive at their destinations safely and on time. Requirements: Clean driving record and a strong commitment to road safety. Must be well-presented and maintain a professional appearance. Demonstrable knowledge of defensive and safe driving practices. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Willingness to work flexible hours when required. Excellent knowledge of Abuja roads and major routes. Must demonstrate a high level of confidentiality, discretion, and integrity. Must be physically fit and capable of carrying out the responsibilities: of the role. Previous experience: driving for Senior Management, Executives, or corporate organisations will be an added advantage. Minimum of 3 years’ proven experience: as an Official, Corporate, Executive, or Personal Driver. Must be security-conscious and able to exercise good judgement while transporting passengers. Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure. Must be punctual, disciplined, trustworthy, respectful, and responsible. Good understanding of basic vehicle maintenance and ability to identify common vehicle faults. Valid Nigerian Driver’s Licence.
