We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Position: Accountant Job Location: Abuja Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a trustworthy and detail-oriented Accountant to maintain accurate financial records and support budgeting, payroll, reconciliation, financial reporting and statutory compliance. Responsibilities: Maintain complete and accurate accounting records. Record income, expenses, payments and other financial transactions. Prepare invoices, receipts, payment vouchers and supporting documents. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable. Conduct bank, cash and account reconciliations. Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up on payments. Support payroll preparation and maintain payroll records. Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports. Assist management with budgeting, forecasting and expenditure control. Monitor company expenses and ensure proper authorization. Maintain organized financial records and supporting documents. Assist with tax, pension and other statutory requirements. Support internal and external audit processes. Identify financial discrepancies and recommend corrective action. Maintain the confidentiality of the company’s financial information. Requirements: B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline. Two to four years of relevant accounting experience. Good knowledge of bookkeeping and financial-reporting principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets. Experience: using accounting software. Strong numerical, analytical and reconciliation skills. Good attention to detail and record-management ability. Understanding of Nigerian tax and statutory requirements. High level of integrity, confidentiality and accountability. Professional accounting certification or progress toward certification is an advantage. Salary N180,000 - N200,000 per month.
