As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performing software solutions that power Expedier's fintech products. You are expected to lead technically, mentor engineers, uphold engineering standards, and ensure timely delivery of business-critical features. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, Compliance, and Operations teams Own end-to-end design, development, and deployment of software features Lead architectural decisions and maintain high coding standards through code reviews Ensure security, compliance, and quality across all engineering work Champion automated testing, performance monitoring, and rapid incident resolution Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through coaching and pair programming Maintain and improve cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP Participate actively in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. Build and maintain scalable APIs and third-party integrations with payment providers and banking partners Requirements: Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills Ownership mindset, accountability, and high attention to detail. Proficiency in React (TypeScript) and Django (Python) Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field Experience: with AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Experience: with project management tools such as Jira or GitHub Projects Minimum of 4–6 years of professional software engineering experience: Strong understanding of RESTful API design and third-party integrations Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, particularly GitHub Actions Knowledge of secure coding standards, authentication, and encryption Prior experience: in a fintech or financial services environment is an advantage Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and database management What You'll Gain Salary: N550,000 per month.
