The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the organisation’s network and connectivity infrastructure, ensuring reliable communication, internet access, and connectivity across designated locations. We are seeking a skilled and proactive Connectivity Associate to join our team in Warri. Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate records of network equipment, configurations, faults and maintenance activities. Support the implementation and maintenance of wireless networks. Troubleshoot and resolve network, internet, LAN/WAN and connectivity-related issues. Monitor network performance and identify connectivity issues before they significantly impact operations. Monitor and maintain network connectivity across the organisation. Liaise with Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and other vendors to resolve connectivity and service-related issues. Assist with network cabling, configuration and troubleshooting. Provide timely updates and reports on network performance, incidents and resolutions. Support other IT and infrastructure-related activities as assigned. Provide technical support to users experiencing network and connectivity challenges. Conduct routine checks on network equipment and connectivity infrastructure. Support the configuration, installation and maintenance of network devices, including routers, switches, access points and related equipment. Assist with network security measures and ensure compliance with established IT policies and procedures. Escalate complex network issues to the appropriate technical team or service provider when required. Participate in the installation, configuration and commissioning of new connectivity infrastructure. Qualifications & Requirements: Minimum of 3years of relevant experience: in network support, connectivity, telecommunications or a related role. Good understanding of LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN and wireless networking. Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Bachelor's Degree or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications,or a related field. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies. Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot network and connectivity problems effectively. Ability to respond promptly to technical issues and work effectively under pressure. Relevant professional certifications in networking will be an added advantage. Practical knowledge of routers, switches, access points and other network infrastructure. Good understanding of network cabling and basic network infrastructure. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
