We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: General Manager Location: Apapa, Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary The ideal candidate should be able to drive business growth, improve operational efficiency, ensure customer satisfaction, and maintain high production standards. The person must have strong leadership skills and experience: in manufacturing, preferably in smartcard production or related industries. The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the company, including production, business development, finance, administration, operations, customer service, and staff management. Key Responsibilities: Business Operations & Management: Oversee the daily operations of the company. Prepare operational reports for management. Develop and implement business strategies to improve company performance. Monitor company goals and ensure targets are achieved. Ensure smooth coordination between all departments. Production & Manufacturing Oversight: Ensure compliance with manufacturing and quality standards. Ensure production targets are met within approved timelines. Supervise smartcard manufacturing processes to ensure quality and efficiency. Work closely with production, QC/QA, and engineering teams to reduce downtime and wastage. Business Development & Revenue Growth: Support contract negotiations and customer retention efforts. Develop strategies to increase sales and company revenue. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders. Identify new business opportunities and partnerships. Financial & Cost Management: Work with the finance team to monitor budgets and expenses. Ensure proper cost control and efficient use of company resources. Monitor profitability and suggest areas for improvement. Staff Leadership & Administration: Support recruitment, training, and staff development. Drive a performance based work culture. Ensure discipline, teamwork, and accountability across departments. Supervise and manage department heads and staff performance.
