The Technical Commercial Engineer serves as the Company’s technical and commercial custodian, ensuring that every proposal, quotation, tender, contract, pricing model, purchase evaluation, billing package and commercial submission is technically accurate, commercially competitive, financially viable and aligned with the strategic objectives. Roles & Responsibilities: Evaluate supplier, subcontractor and OEM quotations to ensure competitiveness, value for money and compliance with project requirements. Maintain strong working relationships with clients, OEMs, suppliers and strategic partners to support long-term business growth. Review Bills of Materials (BOMs), Bottom Hole Assemblies (BHAs), equipment lists, personnel requirements: and service scopes for technical and commercial accuracy. Assist in resolving commercial disputes, pricing clarifications and contractual issues with clients and partners. Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at strengthening commercial governance, operational efficiency and sustainable profitability. Ensure all commercial submissions accurately reflect the project scope, technical requirements, deliverables and commercial terms. Work closely with Finance to verify project costing, billing schedules, proforma invoices, client invoices and revenue recognition. Serve as the Company’s focal point for all technical-commercial matters. Work closely with the Sales & Commercial team to develop winning commercial strategies for new opportunities. Lead or support commercial negotiations with OEMs, strategic partners, subcontractors and vendors. Develop standardized costing methodologies and pricing tools to improve consistency across all commercial submissions. Monitor project commercial performance and recommend corrective actions to improve profitability. Collaborate with the Tendering team to prepare high-quality, technically compliant and commercially attractive bid submissions. Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement and commercial optimization across the organization. Ensure all invoices accurately reflect executed work, approved rates and contractual agreements before submission to clients.Review client contracts, purchase orders and commercial agreements to identify commercial risks, liabilities and opportunities. Review purchase requisitions, purchase orders and procurement pricing to ensure commercial reasonableness and cost optimization. Stay informed of market trends, competitor pricing, industry benchmarks and emerging commercial practices within the oil and gas industry. Prepare periodic commercial performance reports, bid analysis and pricing intelligence for executive management. Ensure all commercial commitments comply with Company policies, client requirements: and contractual obligations. Maintain the Company’s commercial pricing database, rate schedules, costing models and commercial templates. Prepare, review and validate technical and commercial proposals, quotations and tenders before submission to clients. Perform detailed cost analysis and margin assessments for all bids and commercial opportunities. Develop competitive pricing models and cost estimates that maximize profitability while remaining competitive. Support project kick-off meetings by explaining commercial assumptions, pricing structures and contractual obligations to project teams. Coordinate with Operations to confirm that commercial proposals accurately reflect execution methodologies, resource requirements: and operational constraints.
