Key Responsibilities: Legal Research & Drafting: Conduct legal research and assist in drafting court processes, legal opinions, correspondence, applications, and other legal documents. Support Senior Counsel: Provide research, drafting, administrative, and other legal support to senior associates and partners on litigation matters. Client Support: Assist with client communication, meetings, and the provision of updates on assigned matters under appropriate supervision. Legal Compliance & Deadlines: Monitor court dates, filing deadlines, and other procedural requirements: to ensure timely action and compliance. Requirements: & Qualifications Research & Drafting: Strong legal research, writing, drafting, and analytical skills. Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools. Legal Knowledge: Good understanding of Nigerian legal procedures, civil litigation, court processes, and legal research. Experience: 0–2 years of post-call litigation experience. Relevant experience: in a law firm is an added advantage. Education: Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from a recognised institution and qualification from the Nigerian Law School (B.L.). Communication: Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong Legal Research & Drafting Skills: Ability to conduct thorough legal research and prepare clear, accurate, and well-structured legal documents. Analytical: Ability to analyse legal issues, identify relevant authorities, and contribute practical solutions.
