You will be the backbone of our daily transaction fulfillment and treasury strategy across Africa and beyond. The Financial and Treasury Operations Lead will be responsible for safeguarding liquidity, managing cash across countries, and ensuring our financial rails are always ready to serve our merchants. This is a full-time hybrid role for a Financial and Treasury Operations Lead at Start Button Limited. Job Responsibilities: Execute and optimize daily inter-company and cross-border fund movements in line with regulatory requirements: Work closely with banking and FX partners to improve execution, reduce cost, and enhance reliability Manage treasury dashboards, cash flow forecasts, and reconciliation with internal and partner data Assist in designing automation workflows and controls for treasury and settlement processes Monitor and manage liquidity positions across markets to ensure sufficient funding for merchant payouts Track performance against SLAs and report key treasury metrics to leadership weekly Support monthly financial close processes, including bank reconciliations and settlement matching Coordinate with key accounts and support teams on escalations related to failed or delayed transactions Identify and mitigate risks related to treasury operations, including fraud, currency exposure, and liquidity gaps Skills/Qualifications/ Experience: Required Startup mindset — you’re comfortable in ambiguity and enjoy building systems from the ground up.
