This role is ideal for an experienced security professional who is physically fit, alert, and comfortable working both day and night shifts. Key Responsibilities: Verify identification and authorization before allowing access. Receive and record visitors and deliveries and notify relevant personnel. Conduct proper shift handovers and communicate outstanding issues to the incoming security officer. Report suspicious activities, security risks, and incidents immediately to the Construction Manager. Conduct regular patrols of the site, perimeter, storage areas, and key structures. Maintain accurate occurrence logs covering visitors, deliveries, incidents, and other notable events. Inspect vehicles entering and leaving the site. Protect materials, equipment, and company property from theft or damage. Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms. Enforce site rules, restricted-area access, PPE requirements, and after-hours protocols. Control and monitor all entry and exit points. Requirements: Calm and professional when handling difficult situations. Valid security licence/certification from a recognized Nigerian security training institution. Must reside close to Oniru/Victoria Island. Physically fit and able to conduct regular patrols and stand for extended periods. Alert, observant, honest, and trustworthy. Minimum 2 years' experience: in a security role. Willing and available to work 12-hour rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays. Must be able to report to the site for the full duration of assigned shifts. Able to read, write, and maintain clear and accurate occurrence records.
