BERL is seeking a commercially driven Sales/Procurement Engineer to support business growth through technical sales, sourcing, procurement, and client relationship management. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, preparing proposals and bids, sourcing technical products and services, and ensuring the successful delivery of client requirements. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate procurement activities from requisition to delivery. Monitor order fulfilment, shipping activities, and delivery timelines. Review and interpret technical specifications, drawings, and datasheets. Prepare technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and tender submissions. Source technical equipment, materials, and services from local and international suppliers. Liaise with engineering, logistics, and operations teams to ensure timely project execution. Recommend suitable products and solutions based on client requirements. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and key stakeholders. Identify and pursue business opportunities within the Oil & Gas, Energy, Engineering, and Industrial sectors. Evaluate supplier quotations and negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial terms. Requirements: Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Strong understanding of logistics, shipping documentation, and supply chain processes. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline. Proven experience: in international sourcing, procurement, tendering, and bid management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant ERP/Procurement systems. Ability to analyse technical datasheets and specifications. Experience: within an EPC, Oil & Gas, Energy, Manufacturing, or Industrial Services environment is highly preferred. Ability to interpret mechanical, electrical, and engineering drawings. 3 - 5 years' experience: in Technical Sales, Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering Support, or Business Development. Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving ability. Business development and relationship management. Customer-focused mindset. Attention to detail and organisational skills.
