The successful candidate will work in a relatively lean site environment and will be responsible for providing effective HR administration, office coordination, and local community support. We are seeking a practical and resourceful HR Officer to support the day-to-day HR and administrative activities at our Ajaokuta site. Key Responsibilities: Prepare basic HR and administrative reports for management. Maintain accurate employee records and documentation. Monitor and manage employee attendance and leave records. Maintain good knowledge of the local environment and coordinate logistics or support services when required. Assist with local community engagement and community-related matters. Support communication between employees, management, and relevant stakeholders. Manage daily HR administrative activities at the site. Support other HR and administrative activities as assigned. Provide support in addressing employee and site-related administrative issues. Coordinate office administration and ensure smooth day-to-day site operations. Support employee onboarding and general HR processes. Requirements: Good communication and interpersonal skills. Basic knowledge of HR processes, including attendance, leave management, employee records, and general HR administration. Good knowledge of the geography, businesses, services, and key locations around Ajaokuta. Practical, proactive, and resourceful approach to problem-solving. Bachelor's Degree or HND in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Experience: in community relations, site administration, or industrial/manufacturing environments will be an advantage. Ability to work independently and handle multiple administrative responsibilities. 2–4 years of experience: in HR administration, office administration, or a similar role.
