This role involves delivering training modules in project cost engineering (PRINCE 2) , project planning, and related engineering disciplines to professional and corporate audiences. The facilitator develops course materials, case studies, and practical exercises that reflect current industry standards, especially within oil and gas and other relevant sectors. Responsibilities: include assessing participant needs, conducting classroom and workshop sessions, evaluating learner performance, and providing constructive feedback. The role also requires collaboration with other trainers and institute leadership to refine curricula, ensure quality assurance, and contribute to consultancy projects where cost engineering expertise is needed. Qualifications Strong Communication skills, including the ability to present complex technical concepts clearly and engage diverse learner groups. Proven Project Management and Project Planning skills for structuring training programs and demonstrating real-world applications of cost engineering principles. Solid Project Engineering background, with practical experience: in cost estimation, budgeting, and cost control in engineering projects. Relevant Electrical Engineering knowledge, especially in industrial or infrastructure projects, to contextualize cost engineering examples and case studies. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field), Project Management, or a closely related discipline; advanced certifications in project or cost management are an advantage. Previous experience: as a trainer, lecturer, or facilitator in a technical or professional development setting. Familiarity with industry standards, project management frameworks, and cost estimation tools commonly used in oil and gas and other industrial sectors. Ability to work collaboratively, demonstrate professional ethics, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
