We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Internal Control Officer Location: Lagos Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain strong working relationships with process owners, promoting awareness of internal control standards, risk management practices, and compliance requirements. Prepare internal control reports highlighting observations, risk exposures, recommendations, and implementation status for Management. Conduct periodic reviews, walkthroughs, and testing of operational and financial controls to evaluate their effectiveness. Perform any other duties assigned by the Head of Internal Control or Management. Monitor compliance with Group policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and applicable regulatory requirements. Track the implementation of agreed corrective actions and follow up with process owners to ensure timely resolution of audit findings. Collaborate with Internal Audit, Finance, HR, Operations, Procurement, and other business functions to strengthen governance and risk management practices. Maintain proper documentation of internal control activities and ensure records are accurate, complete, and readily accessible. Support the development, review, and continuous improvement of internal control policies, procedures, and operational guidelines. Identify control gaps, operational risks, revenue leakages, and process inefficiencies, and recommend practical improvement initiatives. Proactively identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, reduce losses, strengthen revenue controls, and enhance business processes across the Group. Partner with business unit leaders to implement and strengthen internal control processes across hospitality, QSR, and cinema operations.
