The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture seeks suitable Nigeria Nationals for the position below at the Institute’s headquarter in Ibadan. Duties Schedule patient appointments and manage patient flow. Educate patients on post-procedure care and oral hygiene practices. Monitor patient comfort and well-being during treatment. Ensure effective infection control and sterilization of instruments in compliance with medical protocols. Maintain dental inventory and alert the supervisor about supplies that need to be. Maintain patient records and ensure accurate charting. Assist the dentist during dental procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques. Provide preventive dental care. Prepare the dental operatory and ensure all instruments and materials are ready before procedures. Perform basic dental procedure within the ambit of Dental Surgery Technologist e.g. Scaling and polishing. Ensure compliance with the facility’s safety, health, and ethical guidelines. Provide support with dental imaging. Requirements: HND in Dental Surgery Technology or HND in Dental Technician, with a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience: performing similar functions in a structured organization. Competencies: The ideal candidate must have: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Organizational skills with attention to detail. Strong understanding of infection control practices and health & safety protocols. Good knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments.
