We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Officer with an engineering background to join our team Do you have the ability to identify reliable suppliers, negotiate effectively, and ensure timely procurement of quality materials and equipment? Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Finance, and other departments to understand and fulfill procurement requirements. Assist in resolving issues relating to delayed deliveries, incorrect items, or quality concerns. Maintain accurate records of suppliers, quotations, purchase orders, and procurement transactions. Support cost-saving initiatives and identify opportunities to optimize procurement processes. Conduct supplier research and support the development and maintenance of a reliable supplier database. Source and evaluate suppliers for engineering materials, equipment, spare parts, and other required items. Monitor purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery. Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and approved procedures. Obtain and analyze quotations to ensure competitive pricing and value for money. Prepare and process purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and procurement documentation. Negotiate with suppliers on pricing, quality, delivery timelines, and payment terms.
