The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital communications, social media trends, and PR, and be able to creatively and effectively position both the personal brand and the company on a global stage. We are looking for a dynamic and creative Marketing & Communications Officer to oversee and elevate both the Morenike Molehin personal brand and Oak & Teak, a leading interior design company. This hybrid role requires someone who is both strategic and hands-on, able to develop and execute compelling PR and digital communications strategies while partnering with our social media managers to produce engaging content that resonates with diverse audiences. Key Responsibilities: Content Creation & Strategy: Develop comprehensive digital communications strategies for both brands across social media platforms. Create content strategies tailored to each platform's audience. Work closely with designers to develop video and multimedia content. Social Media Management: Ensure partners respond to comments, direct messages and engage with followers. Oversee daily social media activity, ensuring consistent voice, style and messaging. Create brand guidelines for both Morenike Molehin and Oak & Teak. Public Relations & Media Outreach: Cultivate relationships with media outlets, influencers and partners to secure press coverage and speaking engagements. Run diverse ads to introduce both brands to new audiences. Develop and distribute press releases as needed, particularly for new initiatives, product launches or events. Analytics & Reporting: Provide monthly performance reports. Adjust strategies based on analytics and insights. Monitor social media metrics and KPIs including follower growth, engagement rate and brand mentions. Collaboration: Coordinate with designers and external teams to ensure high-quality, on-brand content. Work closely with Morenike Molehin to ensure alignment between personal brand and company messaging. Influencer & Brand Partnerships: Research and identify potential influencers, brands and collaborators to expand reach and amplify visibility. Performance Goals Improve engagement rates across platforms. Increase brand visibility for both Morenike Molehin and Oak & Teak. Enhance overall brand awareness, including global reach and recognition. Qualifications 2–3 years of experience: in social media management, digital communications or a related field. Experience: in public relations and working with media outlets is a plus. Strong experience: with major social media platforms including Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook and TikTok. Basic photography and videography skills, especially using mobile devices. Creative mindset with an understanding of trends, algorithms and best practices. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines. Strong understanding of PR strategies and ability to manage both personal and corporate brands effectively. N250,000 - N350,000 monthly.
