They are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: General Manager Location: Abuja (FCT) Employment Type: Full-time Industry Real Estate Reporting To Managing Director / Board of Directors Job Summary The General Manager will serve as the chief operating executive responsible for driving the company’s strategic vision, overseeing day-to-day business operations, managing key stakeholder relationships, and ensuring profitability and growth across all business lines. The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of the Nigerian real estate market, strong leadership capability, and a track record of delivering results in a structured yet dynamic business environment. Key Responsibilities: Drive annual business planning, budgeting, and performance management processes. Operations Management Facilitate land acquisition, title documentation, regulatory approvals, and compliance processes. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and take corrective action to ensure operational targets are met. Oversee all operational functions including property development, sales and leasing, facility management, and customer service. Coordinate project timelines, contractor relationships, and delivery milestones for active development projects. Represent the company in industry associations, forums, and high-level business engagements. Define and execute the company’s short, medium, and long-term strategic objectives in alignment with the board’s vision. Establish and enforce policies, procedures, and quality standards across all departments. Manage relationships with clients, investors, joint-venture partners, and key contractors. Build and maintain productive relationships with government agencies including AGIS, FCDA, FCTA, and other relevant regulatory bodies. Identify new business opportunities, emerging markets, and investment prospects within the Nigerian real estate sector. Qualifications Minimum of 10 years’ professional experience, with at least 5 years in a senior management or general management role within the real estate sector. Strong business acumen with the ability to translate strategy into operational outcomes. Proven track record of managing government stakeholder relationships and navigating regulatory environments in Abuja or comparable Nigerian cities. Demonstrated experience: in property development, sales, project management, and/or facility management. Bachelor’s degree in Estate Management, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related field. Professional certifications such as ANIVS, NIS, PMP, or RICS will be an added advantage. A Postgraduate Degree (MBA or MSc) in a relevant discipline is strongly preferred. Excellent leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills.
