We are seeking a proactive, organized, and people-oriented HR Intern to join our team and support the effective delivery of day-to-day Human Resources activities. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional with 0–1 year of HR experience: who is looking to build a strong foundation in Human Resources and gain practical exposure to recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, HR administration, performance management, and HR reporting. The successful candidate will work closely with the HR team and gain hands-on experience: in supporting people-related processes within a professional work environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist with employee onboarding and preparation of relevant documentation. Support the recruitment process, including vacancy postings, CV screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communication. Maintain strict confidentiality of employee and company information. Support the administration of attendance, leave, probation, confirmation, and other employee records. Respond to routine employee enquiries and escalate sensitive or complex matters appropriately. Support performance management and employee review processes. Assist with the implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures. Perform other HR-related duties assigned by the HR Manager. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases. Conduct basic HR research and support HR projects and process improvement initiatives. Assist with employee engagement initiatives and internal HR activities. Support the preparation of HR reports, trackers, and workforce records. Requirements: 0–1 year of relevant HR experience, including internship or NYSC experience. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with people at different levels. Good organizational and administrative skills with strong attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, Management, Psychology, or a related field. A proactive, responsible, and solution-oriented approach to work. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Basic understanding of HR principles, processes, and best practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel. Demonstrated willingness to learn and develop professionally.
