The ideal candidate will possess strong sales, relationship management, and business development skills with a proven track record in the banking, microfinance, fintech, insurance, or financial services sector. The role requires aggressive market penetration, customer relationship management, and achievement of assigned sales and financial targets while ensuring compliance with the Bank's policies and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: Business Development & Customer Acquisition: Market and sell the Bank's products and services including savings accounts, current accounts, fixed deposits, loans, and digital banking solutions. Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share and customer base. Generate quality leads through field marketing, referrals, networking, and direct sales activities. Identify and acquire new individual and corporate customers. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective customers. Deposit Mobilization: Drive deposit mobilization efforts to achieve assigned liability targets. Develop strategies for attracting and retaining deposit customers. Ensure sustained growth in customer deposits and account balances. Source and manage high-net-worth individuals (HNIs), SMEs, cooperatives, associations, and corporate clients. Loan Generation & Portfolio Management: Source qualified loan prospects in line with the Bank's lending policies. Monitor loan performance and support recovery efforts where necessary. Conduct preliminary assessments of loan applicants. Support loan documentation and disbursement processes. Maintain a healthy loan portfolio with minimal delinquency. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention. Conduct regular customer visits to identify opportunities for business growth. Address customer inquiries, complaints, and service issues promptly. Market Intelligence: Gather customer feedback and provide market insights to management. Monitor competitor activities and market trends. Identify emerging business opportunities within assigned territories. Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of customer engagements, sales activities, and portfolio performance. Ensure proper documentation of all accounts and transactions. Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales activity reports. Compliance & Risk Management: Adhere strictly to KYC (Know Your Customer), AML (Anti-Money Laundering), and regulatory requirements. Ensure all customer onboarding processes comply with internal policies and CBN regulations. Protect customer information and maintain confidentiality at all times.
