We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Videographer Location: Abuja Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a creative, skilled, and detail-oriented Videographer to produce high-quality video content that communicates the Foundation’s programs, impact, activities, campaigns, and stories. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, filming, editing, and delivering engaging video content for social media, websites, campaigns, events, donor communications, and other organizational purposes. Key Responsibilities: Video Production: Plan, shoot, and produce high-quality video content for Open Health Foundation’s programs and activities. Conduct interviews with staff, beneficiaries, partners, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders. Ensure proper framing, lighting, audio, composition, and overall video quality during shoots. Cover events, community outreach programs, health campaigns, interviews, training sessions, and other organizational activities. Capture relevant B-roll and supporting footage to enhance storytelling. Video Editing and Post-Production: Edit raw footage into professional and engaging videos for different platforms. Maintain consistency with Open Health Foundation's branding and communication guidelines. Ensure videos are appropriately formatted for different social media platforms. Produce both short-form and long-form content for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, and the organization's website. Add music, sound effects, subtitles, graphics, transitions, logos, and other appropriate elements. Content Development: Collaborate with the Communications and Programs teams to develop creative video concepts and story ideas. Contribute ideas for campaigns, social media content, documentaries, testimonials, interviews, and impact stories. Assist in developing video scripts, storyboards, shot lists, and production plans. Stay updated on current video trends and creative storytelling techniques. Equipment and Production Management: Manage and organize video files and production assets. Operate and maintain cameras, microphones, lighting equipment, tripods, gimbals, and other production equipment. Identify and communicate equipment or technical requirements: for upcoming productions. Ensure all equipment is properly stored, maintained, and ready for use. Brand and Impact Storytelling: Ensure all content reflects Open Health Foundation's values, professionalism, and brand identity. Capture authentic stories that demonstrate the Foundation's impact on individuals and communities. Handle sensitive stories and interviews involving beneficiaries with professionalism, respect, and confidentiality. Obtain appropriate consent before recording or publishing individuals where required. Required Qualifications Experience: covering events, interviews, campaigns, and social media content. Experience: working with nonprofit, healthcare, development, or social-impact organizations is an advantage. Demonstrable portfolio of previous video production and editing work. Bachelor's Degree, Diploma, or relevant training in Film Production, Mass Communication, Media Studies, Photography, or a related field. 2–4 years of professional experience: in videography, video production, content creation, or a related role. Required Skills: Strong storytelling and creative skills. Ability to produce engaging short-form social media content. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good photography skills are an added advantage. Strong knowledge of cameras and video production equipment. Good attention to detail.
