Min Qualification: High School (S.S.C.E) Experience: Level: Entry level Experience: Length: 2 years Language Requirement: English Working Hours: Full Time - 8 to 5 Applicant Location: Lagos, Nigeria Job descriptions & requirements: Responsibilities: Prepare metal and other door components for coating through cleaning, sanding, grinding, filling, degreasing, and other appropriate surface preparation processes. Apply primers, paints, protective coatings, and finishing materials using appropriate spray painting techniques. Carry out wet spray painting and powder coating to required specifications. Operate spray guns, compressors, powder coating equipment, curing equipment, and other finishing machinery safely and effectively. Mix paints, coatings, and other finishing materials according to specified ratios and manufacturer requirements. Perform colour matching and maintain consistency across production batches. Ensure proper coating thickness, adhesion, curing, drying, and overall finish. Minimise defects, rejected products, rework, and material wastage. Identify and correct finishing defects before products proceed to final quality inspection. Meet assigned production schedules without compromising finishing quality. Maintain proper operation, cleaning, and maintenance of all finishing equipment. Comply strictly with health, safety, and environmental requirements. Work effectively with production and quality control teams to maintain the company's finishing standards. Requirements: Minimum of SSCE Trade Test, or equivalent technical/vocational qualification. Minimum of 2 years' hands-on experience: in industrial spray painting, metal finishing, automotive finishing, manufacturing, or a related production environment.
