We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Contracting Officer Location: Lagos Job type: Contract Job Summary We are currently seeking Contracting Officers to provide operational support for contracting activities, including contract administration, documentation management, and execution support to ensure compliance with agreed contractual requirements. Responsibilities: You’ll help our oil and gas clients succeed by: Supporting contract execution activities in accordance with agreed terms. Supporting contract lifecycle administration activities including contract creation, documentation management, amendment tracking and contract close-out activities Coordinating contractor correspondence and document exchanges Coordinating contract documentation and variation processes. Supporting tendering, award, and contract mobilisation activities Tracking contract milestones, deliverable, expiry dates, and key contractual obligations Escalating contract administration issues requiring management intervention. Liaising with contractors and internal stakeholders on contract-related matters. Prepare contract status reports and support management reporting requirements: Maintaining contract records and supporting contractual compliance requirements. Maintaining contract databases, document repositories, and contract records Assisting with the resolution and escalation of contracting issues as required. Requirements: You’re a strong candidate if you have: Experience: working in oil & gas, energy, or large industrial environments is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/SCM systems. Experience: using Power I or similar reporting tools will be an advantage Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CIPS, CIMA, CFA, Six Sigma) will be an advantage. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Economics, Finance or a related discipline; with a minimum of Second-Class Lower (2.2) GPA. 3–5 years of experience: in contracting, procurement, or supply chain operations.
