Min Qualification: Degree Experience: Level: Executive level Experience: Length: 10 years Language Requirement: English Working Hours: Full Time - 8 to 5 Applicant Location: Abuja, Nigeria Job descriptions & requirements: Responsibilities: Install, calibrate, maintain, and repair medical equipment, including radiotherapy (HDR brachytherapy and, in later phases, LINAC), diagnostic imaging (CT, MRI, X-ray, ultrasound, mammography), and general clinical equipment Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime Coordinate with equipment manufacturers and technical partners on installation, servicing and warranty support Ensure equipment complies with relevant safety, quality and regulatory standards, including radiation-safety requirements: (NNRA) Manage service contracts and maintenance agreements with vendors and technical partners Maintain accurate equipment inventory, maintenance logs and compliance documentation Train clinical staff on proper equipment use and basic troubleshooting Support Procurement in evaluating technical specifications for new equipment purchases Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize impact on patient care Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Clinical/Medical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related field Minimum of 10 years' relevant experience: in biomedical/clinical engineering, ideally within a hospital/medical center or diagnostic imaging environment Experience: with radiotherapy, imaging or laboratory equipment is strongly preferred Registration with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) is an advantage Familiarity with medical equipment safety and regulatory standards (e.g. NNRA radiation-safety requirements) Log In and Apply Important safety tips Do not make any payment without confirming with the Jobberman Customer Support Team.
