Provide training opportunities and access to the latest industry data for the team. Collaborate with the sales team to set sales targets and ensure achievement of revenue goals across different regions and sectors. The Head of Lubricants will be responsible for the strategic leadership, growth, and overall performance of the company’s Lubricants and chemical business, with a primary focus on Chemical business. This role involves overseeing the entire value chain, including product development, sales, marketing, supply chain, and operations to maximize profitability and expand market presence. Provides guidance on maintenance of industry data. Ensure unit requirements: & challenges are known by the highest levels of company leadership. Monitor competitive activates. Guide the team in creating and maintaining strong customer relationships, identifying opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell within the existing customer base. Manage relationships with key industry stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, OEMs, and regulators to enhance business performance. Oversee the implementation of digital marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement. Develop and implement a robust strategic plan for the growth of the chemical business segments in alignment with overall corporate goals. Develop and execute marketing and sales strategies to drive chemical businesses including the Trans aqua products. Creating a solid network of strategic partnerships. Collaborate with the procurement and clearing agents to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products. Oversee supply chain management for Transaqua and other chemicals, ensuring efficient sourcing, production, and distribution. Listen to the trends of the market and direct the market research efforts of the company. Develop relationships with key influencers in key customer hierarchy. Maintain high level contacts with industry leaders. Qualifications Membership of professional qualification will be an added advantage. Minimum of 10 years post qualification experience. Strong knowledge of lubricants products, applications, and market dynamics. Experience: in industrial sales. B.Eng Engineering, or Social Sciences or any other relevant or related field of study from an accredited University. Remuneration Competitive.
